Skid Plate Group
The available Skid Plate Group consists of fuel tank and transfer case skid plates and two front tow hooks, It protects the fuel tank, purge canister and filter from damage by rocks and other obstacles. It also discourages liquids and debris from collecting on the transfer case surface.

Electronic Stability Program(ESP)
Electronic Stability Program(ESP) provides greater stability and control, allowing the driver to manoeuvre out of harm's way. Also provides added peace of mind when driving in inclement condiions or towing heavy loads.

Includes Brake Assist, all-speed traction control, Electronic Roll Mitigation and Trailer Sway Control. Responds when a vehicle is in position to roll by applying a front brake to reduce the likelihood that such an event will occur. Aids the driver in maintaining vehicle stability during an emergency manoeuvre or an accident avoidance situation. No System, no matter how sophisticated, can repeal the laws of physics or overcome careless driving actions. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. When the ESP warning lamp in the instrument cluster flashes, the driver needs to use less throttle and adapt speed and driving behaviour to prevailing road conditions. All-Speed Traction Control
All-speed traction control monitors the amount of wheel spin of each of the driven wheels appling brake pressure to the slipping wheels and reduces engine power to provide enhanced acceleration and stability.

Provides increased driving confidence on all road surfaces, especially on sand and gravel as well as wet and snowy roads. Controls the wheels spin across a driven axle, similar to limited-slip differential. If one wheel on a driven axle is spinning faster than the other, the system will aply the brake and slow down that wheel. Allows more engine torque to be successfully applied to the wheel if it is not spinning.

Brake Assist
Helps to ensure 100 percent brake efficiency during panic situations to help drivers stop sooner. Features an active power booster for maximux braking power when needed. Reacts faster than a human being to apply full brake pressure. Can help reduce stopping distance by over a car length at highway spees.

Electronic Roll Mitigation
Monitors the driver's steering wheel input and the speed of the vehicle to sense the potential for wheel lift. Detects when the sudden buildup of lateral force during a severe turn or evasive manoeuvre can casue the vehicle to start to tip, reducing the chance of a rollrover.

Applies the brakes with a high burst of pressure to cause the outside tire to slip and cause the outside tire to slip and cause the vehicle's weight to transfer back over the inside tires which keeps all four tires solidly on the ground.

Four-Wheel Disc Anti-Lock Brakes
Automatically modulates brake fulid pressure during hard braking allowing the driver to manoeuvre with greater stability and control.

PARKSENSE
This standard ParkSense™ rear park assist system helps the driver manoeuvre in Reverse at low spees. When the driver selects Reverse or Neutral gear, the system scans for objects behind the vehicle that are within 1500mm(59inches) of the rear of the vehicle. Audio-visual indicators in the overhead display in the rear of the vehicle alert the driver to the proximity of most larger, stationary objects that might be outside the driver's line of sight.

The warning display in the rear headliner can provide both a visual and audio warning. The system can be deactivated via a switch located in the lower switch bank. Intended to provide assistance to the driver, Always exercise appropriate care reversing.
